Introduction

The Walk-In Aviary is a huge privately owned walk-in aviary where the friendly free flying birds can be observed photographed and fed.The Walk-in Aviary's owners developed the aviary as a way to enjoy and share their extensive collection of feathered friends. It is their mission to allow people to interact directly with the birds. "Birds share our world, they are not just a part of God's aviary." Visitors to the aviary walk amongst more than 500 birds representing 54 species from Australia and around the world.

 

Parrot Projects encourages you to get involved with interactive learning pages and parrot friendly project ideas. Learn how to build your own birdhouse or create parrot friendly feeders to attract wild birds to your own back yard. Learn how you can do little things every day to help protect Australia's bird life.
